Role Description
This is a full-time,for a Chartered Building Surveyor based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a forward-thinking organization with a clear progression path to Director level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting building surveys for condition, acquisition, and statutory compliance
  • Managing building maintenance and facilities management projects
  • Overseeing energy and environmental management initiatives
  • Leading project management responsibilities, including CDM Principal Designer & Client Agent roles
  • Providing strategic advice on construction projects and building regulations
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of asset management software solutions

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in Building Surveying, covering condition, acquisition, and statutory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of Building Maintenance and Facilities Management

  • Expertise in Project Management with experience in CDM Principal Designer & Client Agent roles
  • Solid understanding of Building Regulations, Architecture, and Design projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Experience with asset management software is advantageous
  • Chartered Surveyor (RICS) qualification is essential
