We are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to join our well-regarded client who are an leading manufacturing company. This role offers a competitive salary, car allowance, healthcare, generous pension, and career growth opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA professional, ready to provide robust financial leadership and oversight. You will be based out of the UK HQ of this international business, which provides a fantastic working environment. 

Main Duties/Responsibilities

Leadership & Oversight

  • Lead the financial accounting team for all UK legal entities, ensuring efficient, effective, and timely service delivery.
  • Supervise fixed asset control, intercompany eliminations, recharges, and VAT reporting for UK entities.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting deadlines and review National Statistics Returns.
  • Establish and apply robust controls on all risk and control issues.
  • Support the leadership of the financial reporting control framework across EMEA.

Financial Reporting & Control

  • Provide accurate financial accounting information for all UK legal entities.
  • Prepare and submit statutory group consolidation and annual statutory accounts.
  • Record and analyse inventory, manage monthly reports to HQ, and act as the senior point of contact.
  • Create and provide Cash Flow Statement and Cash Forecast to the Treasury department.
  • Support audits and evaluate accounting standards and best practices.

Direct and Indirect Taxation

  • Complete tax computations and ensure timely submission of HMRC tax filings.
  • Supervise tax computations, review VAT group returns, and support R&D tax calculations.
  • Execute the EMEA tax control framework.

Approvals & Review

  • Drive standardisation of internal controls and ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.

Systems & Efficiency

  • Develop processes, document procedures, and facilitate the best use of IT systems.
  • Support SAP usage, testing, and training as required.

Tools and Equipment Used

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with financial accounting systems including SAP ideally
