We are currently looking for a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school community in Hatfield, within the education and training sector. As an essential member of our dynamic team, you will provide personalized support to students with diverse needs, helping them overcome obstacles and unlock their full potential.

What you'll be doing as an SEMH Teaching Assistant in Hatfield:

  • Working 1:1 or with small classes of students with a range of SEN, including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficulties.
  • Assisting the classroom teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment.
  • Supporting children's emotional and social development, using positive reinforcement.
  • Collaborating with teachers and parents to implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Helping students build confidence, independence, and skills that go beyond the classroom in Hatfield.
