A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Manager to join a highly regarded care provider with a strong presence across the Home Counties. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, offering the chance to shape and drive HR initiatives while supporting senior leadership.

The role requires a strong generalist HR professional with a particular focus on Employee Relations and Employment Law. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance on complex ER cases, disciplinaries, grievances, and workforce management, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage Employee Relations cases, including complex disciplinaries and grievances.
  • Provide expert HR advice to senior managers, influencing key people decisions.
  • Ensure compliance with Employment Law and HR best practices.
  • Support HR operations across the care home network and head office.
  • Oversee and mentor a small HR team.
  • Work closely with leadership to support strategic HR initiatives and workforce planning.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven HR experience within the care home sector.
  • Strong background in Employee Relations, disciplinaries, and complex grievance management.
  • Ability to advise and influence senior management with confidence and credibility.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Law and HR policies.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR expertise.
  • A car driver with flexibility to travel as required.
