CNC Operator Job Description
Job OverviewWe are seeking a CNC Operator to join our client based in Havant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components.
Duties
- Operate CNC XYZ Machinery and lathes to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes, ensuring precision in production.
- Conduct regular inspections of finished products to verify adherence to quality standards.
- Use hand tools and welding equipment as necessary for assembly and fabrication tasks.
- Maintain an organised and clean workspace in compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members in the warehouse to ensure efficient workflow and timely production schedules.
Experience
- Experienced as a CNC Operator using XYZ Machinery or similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in CNC machinery is advantageous.
- Proficient in using hand tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication tools.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating effective communication skills.
- A background in machining or engineering is beneficial but not essential.
Pay
£14.50 plus 22.5% Shift Allowance
Hours - Alternating Weekly Shifts
6.00am - 2.00pm
2.00pm - 10.00pm
