My client, specialising in the water industry across Kent and Hampshire, is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their dynamic team. With a varied portfolio across both waste and clean water projects, this role offers the chance to work on a range of exciting site-based installations and projects.
Electrician Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical installation and testing.
- 17th/18th Edition qualifications.
- ECS Gold card holder.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and PC literacy.
Desirable qualifications:
- Control and Automation experience.
- EUSR Clean Water certification.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installations.
- City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspection.
- Confined Spaces training.
- Emergency First Aid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical installations and refurbishments at client sites.
- Ensure compliance with BS7671, company standards, and hygiene protocols for water systems.
- Inspect, identify faults, and test electrical systems, producing accurate reports.
- Work with design drawings and installation manuals to complete projects.
- Specify materials and parts needed for project completion.
- Produce detailed survey reports for quotations.
- Follow risk assessments and method statements for all projects.
- Manage paperwork and reporting for each project, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Work across multiple projects simultaneously when required.
- Travel to client sites across the region, with occasional overnight stays.
Benefits:
- Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.

- Full-time, permanent role with 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
