Facilities Manager (2-3 month FTC), Havant, Hampshire - to £45k pro rata

A leading FM company is recruiting a Facilities Contract Manager, to manage contracted hard and soft facilities services at a large, technical estate near Portsmouth, Hampshire, plus other local sites in the southern Hampshire and Dorset areas. This will be for a period of 2-3 months to cover a period of extended leave.

The main site consists of office buildings, R&D facilities, leisure, and food outlets and is supplied from a central energy centre (CEC). Familiarisation with CECs and large-scale chillers, cooling towers and similar 'megawatt' plant, is preferred. The successful candidate is therefore likely to have gained exposure in the NHS, heavy industry or the military where similar scale plant is used.

Part of the site is undergoing reinvention and redevelopment. The Facilities Contract Manager will interface with project managers, consultants and contractors ensuring the smooth and safe day to day running of the site during this period of change.

You will oversee a contractor site team of approx. thirty cleaning, security, grounds, and maintenance contractors and ensure they deliver an effective service. Where shortfalls of service occur, you will manage contractors to perform better and achieve compliance to their contract and HSE obligations.

This is an exciting opportunity for an FM Contract Manager/ FM Operations Manager to get deeply involved in site projects that will breathe fresh life into the local area.

We are looking for an individual who can start ASAP and commit for 2-3 months minimum.
