Our clients are actively seeking a Service Engineer to join their growing team. We are seeking someone based around the Havant, Waterlooville or Portsmouth and surrounding area, and happy to travel and work a mixture of days and nights. Â
The Service Engineer will attend customer sites throughout the UK and conduct the following tasks although not limited: Planned Preventative Maintenance, Emergency callouts, Upgrades/repairs, Installation and Commissioning works.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Carrying out routine/planned scheduled maintenance work
• Responding to breakdown and equipment faults
• Diagnosing breakdown problems and carry out first time fix
• Fitting new parts and making sure equipment is working correctly prior to signing off
• Liaising with client departments, customers and other engineering and production colleagues
• Dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems and repairs
• Ensure van stock is controlled
• Respond to customer enquiries in a professional manner
• Represent the company as an ambassador at all times
• Provide accurate information on activities undertaken
Required skills & experience:
• Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical skills
• Good customer service & communication skills
• Previous service experience would be ideal!
• Happy to travel – UK Driving Licence
The basic salary is £26,000 - £26,500 however you will get paid extra for night working, and overtime.
Training on the product will be provided
