Original Talent Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for a Payroll Administrator to join a client of ours based in Havant. You will support across all things payroll including running payroll independently, you will also be involved in HR in regards to on-boarding new employees, leavers, annual leave, over time and contract staff.

Ideally you will have a strong background in Payroll with an element of HR

Duties to include:

  • Process new starters, leavers, amendments to existing employees pay (promotions, sick leave and overtime)
  • Enrol employees into pension scheme once completed probation
  • Support the HR Manager with disciplinaries, grievances and attend investigations
  • Ensure that all new starters have provided the correct documentation including Right To Work, DBS Checks and New Starter Forms
  • Process monthly payroll for all staff
  • Deal with any enquiries surrounding issues with payroll
  • Support with the recruitment process including advertising and shortlisting candidates

Ideally you will:

  • Have experience in Payroll and/or HR role
  • Be proactive and bring new ideas to streamline current processes
  • Have basic knowledge of HR functions and UK Employment Law
  • Be able to process payroll independently
