Reed Recruitment is seeking an experienced Plasterer for a position based in Havant and surrounding areas.
The salary for this role ranges from £32,240 to £34,528 per annum, along with additional benefits including a company van, fuel card, and uniform.
The ideal candidate should have relevant experience in plastering and be prepared to perform a variety of tasks including applying different types of plaster and render finishes.
This full-time position requires working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break.
Candidates must also be willing to undergo training for non-licensed asbestos removal and work at heights using various scaffolding equipment.

Reed Recruitment are looking to recruit an experienced Plasterer to join our client's friendly team based in Havant. Our client provides reactive maintenance services for social housing and district councils. This role will be Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

Duties will include but not limited to:

Be prepared to remove any defective wall or ceiling finish in preparation for the application of a new base coat or finish plaster.
Apply up to 6mm multi-finish plaster to a high standard to any wall or ceiling surface, including the use of any stainless steel or plastic beads where necessary.
Apply sand and cement base coat and 6mm multi-finish plaster to a high standard to any wall or ceiling surface, including the use of stainless steel or plastic beads where necessary.
Apply 2 coats of sand and cement render coat finish, including the use of any stainless steel/plastic beads where necessary.
Apply textured coating, Artex to a basic pattern (e.g., Stipple, broken leather, or basic comb pattern).
Be able to replace plasterboard to any wall or ceiling, including any new noggins, battens and fixings or dot and dab.Dry line caulk and fill.
Willing to work at heights using aluminium tower scaffold, fixed scaffold, ladders, or steps.
Be able to paint with a mist coat to newly dried plaster finishes.
Treat mould with fungicidal washes.
Bonding porous surfaces with either PVA, SBR or similar.
Screed Floors.
Must also be willing to undergo training for non-licensed asbestos removal to be able to remove or repair textured coatings like Artex.
