Role Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students’ learning and well-being. Your role will involve assisting students individually or in small groups, promoting inclusivity, and fostering independence.
Responsibilities:

Student Support:
- Work with secondary-aged pupils, providing academic and pastoral support.
- Establish productive relationships with students, acting as a positive role model.
- Encourage interaction and cooperation among students.
- Promote independence and recognize self-reliance achievements.

Support for Teachers:
- Assist in delivering teaching objectives.
- Monitor student responses to learning activities.
- Provide accurate feedback on student progress.
- Manage the learning environment and resources effectively.

Support for the Curriculum:
- Deliver learning activities, adjusting based on student needs.
- Utilize ICT effectively to enhance learning.
- Prepare resources tailored to student interests and backgrounds.
- Ensure equal access to learning opportunities for all students.
Requirements:
- Experience in a support role within a primary, secondary SEN school, or PRU.
- Passion for helping students succeed.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare.
