We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations and demonstrate proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse, contributing to overall productivity and safety. Driver preferred due to company having several depots in the local area.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Maintain an organised work area, adhering to cleanliness standards and promoting a safe working environment.
- Assist in materials handling processes, including sorting, stacking, and storing products in designated areas
- Requirements
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator or in a similar role within a warehouse setting.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A valid forklift operator certification is required.
