Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – Nights
Location: Haverhill
Salary: £48,000-£52,000
Shifts: Days 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts, 5.30pm-5.30am

I am seeking a proactive Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer looking to work with a fast-paced FMCG manufacturer within the food sector. The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will join a leading production site, supporting essential operations and ensuring equipment runs efficiently and reliably.
Key Responsibilities
- Machine shut downs, clean downs, repairs and reassembly
- Carrying out some planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on production machinery
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and diagnostics (input and outputs module fault finding)
- Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis
- Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
- Maintaining accurate records through CMMS systems
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Familiarity with conveyors, slicers, multi vac, and PLCs (fault finding) as well as ovens, blast chillers, metal detectors
- Experience with Continuous Improvement
- A flexible team player with a can-do attitude and willing to learn
