I am seeking a proactive Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer looking to work with a fast-paced FMCG manufacturer within the food sector. The Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer will join a leading production site, supporting essential operations and ensuring equipment runs efficiently and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

Machine shut downs, clean downs, repairs and reassembly
Carrying out some planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on production machinery
Electrical and mechanical fault finding and diagnostics (input and outputs module fault finding)
Supporting continuous improvement and root cause analysis
Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and food safety regulations

Requirements

Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in an FMCG or manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical maintenance
Familiarity with conveyors, slicers, multi vac, and PLCs (fault finding) as well as ovens, blast chillers, metal detectors
Experience with Continuous Improvement
A flexible team player with a can-do attitude and willing to learn
