We are looking for an experienced Product Development Manager (Polymer Chemistry) who enjoys leading a busy R&D team and is enthusiastic about driving innovation.
This role is key to advancing the productisation of the portfolio and will include the design, development, and scale-up, alongside the overall daily project management with cross-functional teams. You will also provide input and ideas to the R&D teams.
The role is based in Haverhill, which is easily accessible from Cambridge.
Crucially, we are looking for the following:
- PhD in Polymer Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- 6+ years' industrial experience, in product development roles
- Very strong, hands-on Polymer Chemistry background with Formulation experience
- Proven track record of successful product launches
- Ability to lead & inspire x-functional teams
- Mechanical testing skills
- Strategic, action taker
- Analytical, problem-solver
- Collaborative, team worker
- Superb communicator & organiser
- Willing to travel to meet customers on occasions
What is the package?
- Salary of £60,000 - £75,000
- Employee share scheme
