Manage, lead and oversee the day to day service delivery of the MASH and Targeted Support Service, ensuring the service functions runs smoothly and to a high professional standard in line with good practice and guidance.

  • Take a leading role with the Strategic Head of Service for Early Help, MASH, Targeted Youth Support, Youth Justice and Edge of Care family support (Head of Service) in the continuous improvement of the Service based on performance, risk and demand.
  • Promote and govern excellent Face to Face practice across the service, ensuring purposeful work is undertaken, with children, young people and families in conjunction with other social care teams and multi-agency partners which safeguard, improve outcomes and adhere to timescales
  • Ensure that staff within the team are provided with excellent management, supervision, appraisal and personal development opportunities.
  • Build and develop effective strategic partnerships with professional agencies and ensure staff within the service work purposefully with other agencies to promote positive outcomes for children and their families which safeguard them.
  • Positively manage, review and evaluate data compliance, ensuring that high quality administration and record keeping is maintained
  • Provide financial decision-making for the MASH and Targeted Support Service budget, planning spend to ensure best value for money within budgetary limits.
