Class 1 Night Driver

Overview:
We are seeking Class 1 PM HGV Drivers for an ongoing basis vacancy.

Duties:
- Drive Class 1 HGV vehicles in a safe manner
-Trunking from Depot to Depot.

-Curtain-Sider work/No handball
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving
- Ensure containers are secure

Pay and Shifts:

-Monday - Friday Shift Pattern

-DAYS-5AM to 0630AM start times 10-12 hour shift

-NIGHTS - 5PM-7PM start times - 10-12 hour shift

-17 Per Hour PAYE - NIGHTS

-18 Per hour PAYE - WEEKENDS

Qualifications:
- 2 YEAR MINIMUM EXPERIENCE
- Valid CPC and Tachograph Card and Port card
- Extensive knowledge of applicable HGV driving rules and regulations
- No more than 6 points for MINOR offences - None of the following can be accepted: DD,DG,IN,CD,TT.
- Good customer service skills as you will be customer facing at the point of delivery
- Able to carry out manual handling
