The School and Role

This large and well established Secondary Academy based in St Helens, Merseyside, are looking to appoint a passionate and driven English Teacher to teach KS3 - KS4 levels and work as part of an established team.  This is a full-time role, starting after January and is ongoing until the end of the academic year in July 2025.  The successful candidate must have experience of teaching English up to KS4.  This thriving secondary school in the heart of the community, dedicated to delivering an exceptional education and fostering a supportive, inclusive, and dynamic environment for both students and staff. With a strong focus on academic excellence, personal development, and well-being, we aim to inspire and empower every individual to reach their full potential.

Requirements

The desired English Teacher will have;

-          Hold QTS in the UK

-          Experience of working with KS3 and KS4 levels

-          Confidence in teaching the current curriculum

-          Have, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
