Cedar have partnered with a growing logistics company that specialises in e-commerce and supply chain solutions, helping businesses optimise operations and drive efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity for a Part-Qualified Management Accountant with excellent D365 experience to take on a key role in financial reporting, compliance, and business support. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial data, collaborate with internal teams, and contribute to process improvements.

Duties

  • Month-end close processes, including reconciliations and accruals
  • Sales and purchase order matching, intercompany reporting
  • Group reporting in Cognos (monthly, quarterly, and yearly)
  • Ensuring accuracy of general ledger entries and maintaining trial balances
  • Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns
  • Supporting the annual audit with schedules and documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
  • Cost management and variance analysis
  • Supporting budget and forecast preparation
  • Assisting in process improvements and system enhancements

Person Specification

  • Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA
  • Experience with D365 accounting software (required)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy under pressure
  • Excellent Excel skills: Power BI experience is an advantage
  • Strong analytical mindset with a proactive approach
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively
  • Hands-on, problem-solving attitude
