Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Marshaller in the Production Control department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.

This Marshaller position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The purpose is to oversee and manage the marshalling and installation of components in the final assembly of aircraft landing gear systems, as well as the preparation and handling of bush packs. This includes ensuring that all parts are correctly identified, organised, and assembled in compliance with industry standards and company specifications.

Role Responsibilities will include:

  • Identification and Organisation: Accurately identify and categorize each part required for the landing gear assembly. Ensure all components are in optimal condition and ready for assembly.
  • Inventory Management: Liaise with Material planning and procurement to manage shortages, minimising assembly delays.
  • Coordination: Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and availability of parts.
  • Facilitate the timely issue of picks/material to production schedule.
  • Installation of parts to Production schedule (Electronic SAP).
  • Attend Production meetings as required.
  • Assist with Movement of parts between work centres.

  • Skills and Experience required:
  • Minimum of 2 year's experience in a similar role desirable.
  • Proficiency in Technical Software (SAP) desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Assertive approach with attention to detail
  • Good team player and effective communication

Double day shift - Monday to Friday one week of early shifts (6am to 2pm) and one week of late shifts (2pm to 10pm) rotating weekly.
