 Chemical Engineer (Junior)Looking for a Junior Chemical  Engineer our client is a leading manufacturer of aerospace components, committed to delivering high-quality, precision-engineered products. The team is dedicated to innovation, excellence, and continuous improvement, ensuring we meet the stringent standards of the aerospace industry.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer with a degree in Chemical Engineering to join our Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in setting up and gaining certification for new production lines, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Line Setup:

    • Assist in the design and implementation of new production lines.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, manufacturing, and operations, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
    • Participate in process validation and testing to ensure new production lines meet quality standards.
  2. Certification and Compliance:

    • Support the preparation and submission of documentation required for certification and regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct audits and inspections to ensure adherence to industry standards, such as AS9100, and other relevant quality management systems.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformities.
  3. Quality Control:

    • Perform quality control testing and analysis on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
    • Utilize statistical tools and techniques to monitor and analyze production data, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
    • Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and prepare reports for management review.
  4. Continuous Improvement:

    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
    • Provide support in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts to address quality issues.
    • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality engineering and aerospace manufacturing.
  5. Training and Support:

    • Assist in training production staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
    • Provide technical support and guidance to the manufacturing team to ensure quality objectives are met.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a quality engineering role, preferably within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with production line setup and process validation.
