About Us:
We are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Middlesex, committed to providing a nurturing environment where all students can thrive. The school are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Year 3 Teacher to join their team on a long-term supply basis.
Position Overview:
As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and fostering a positive learning environment for our Key Stage 2 students. You will be expected to demonstrate strong curriculum knowledge and effective behaviour management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the National Curriculum for Year 3.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and supportive environment for all students.
  • Conduct assessments and provide constructive feedback to support student progress.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions if taking on the full vacancy, with consideration for a higher rate of pay.
  • Mark work during class time to provide timely feedback to students.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum.
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting, particularly in Year 3.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
