Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Customer Service Specialist within Product Line Parts Team. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.

This Customer Service Specialist position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role, your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining strong customer relationships, coordinating MRO events, managing quality discrepancies and customer complaints.

Role Responsibilities will include:

  • Monitor and communicate the operational status of MRO events to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and send regular status reports on MRO event milestones to customers.
  • Proactively update customers on the status of their orders and provide delivery updates.
  • Share quotes and support the Billing department in preparing invoicing packages for customers.
  • Manage and streamline MRO event preparation and coordination activities to ensure timely and efficient processes.
  • Oversee the receipt and induction of landing gear, ensuring adherence to agreed induction slot targets. Report discrepancies identified upon induction.
  • Align closely with the MRO Event Manager to monitor the progress of landing gear MRO events, oversee and communicate any delays.
  • Prepare landing gear shipping documentation in collaboration with the Trade Compliance department.
  • Handle customer warranty claims and oversee quality investigation reports.
  • Coordinate with the documentation department to manage discrepancies in documentation and general inquiries.
  • Record frequently escalated topics and analyse areas for improvement. Take initiatives for process improvements.
  • Be responsible for the continuous improvement of the Landing Gear MRO product and Customer Service, ensuring it meets market demands and customer expectations.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Proven experience in customer service management within the aviation or MRO industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field (preferable).
  • Knowledge of Aircraft Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) processes and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proven capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated experience in handling various tasks simultaneously.
