As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing in-class support to students across a range of subjects, including your own specialism and core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
- Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis, helping students to develop their understanding and overcome challenges in their learning.
- Collaborating with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and offer targeted interventions where necessary.
- Assisting in the preparation of learning materials and helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of students, helping them to achieve their full potential.
- A degree in any subject, with a passion for education and supporting young people.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to support across various subjects and work as part of a dedicated team.
- A desire to gain classroom experience, with an interest in potentially pursuing a career in teaching.
