Are you a skilled Product Development / Business Analyst looking for a new opportunity in Hounslow? We are seeking a flexible, contract Technical Business Analyst to join a welcoming and collaborative team, and the hybrid role comes with an attractive pay rate of up to 400 per day for 12 months. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in the office in Hounslow.

As a Business Analyst, you can expect to work in close collaboration with the developers and testers of the department. You'll frequently interact with Product Managers, as well as directly with customers (airline and airport ground handlers), to support them during cutovers to the company's systems and to understand their daily operations. Background in Softare Engineering / Development is strongly desired.

During your first few weeks in this Business Analyst role, you can expect to begin work on some of the following:

  • Analyse requirements submitted by Product Management or by the customer
  • Deliver clear, maintainable, and understandable functional specifications and interface documentation
  • Identify interactions and assess impacts with other our client packages/products/solutions to ensure functional compatibility
  • Coordinate those interactions from the building phase to delivery to ensure the compliance of the delivered functionality
  • Obtain specification validation by carrying out the functional review with Development, QA, and Product Management.

We are looking for a Business Analyst with an understanding of what it takes to design, build, and operate a large-scale, complex system that has to operate flawlessly 24x7, 365 days per year. Additional experiences include:

  • Software Engineering / Development background
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Capability to synthesize thoughts and flows (UML modelling, etc.)
  • Excellent synthesis, analytical, and conceptual thinking skills
  • Kanban, SCRUM, and SAFe methodologies
