I am delighted to be working on this wonderful role- one that will offer real chances of progression for the successful candidate.
My client is a highly successful major FMCG brand who are experiencing high percentage of growth.
Their warehouse function is integral to their ongoing success, and they have now created this new key position within the business. The role will support the warehouse with their day-to-day admin duties.
As well as the warehouse you will also work closely with other areas of the business- logistics, customer service and transport teams.
You will have experience using systems and will be confident working with data and producing reports.
As well as you excellent admin skills you will be happy and able to support within the warehouse when required- picking stock etc.. If you already have a Forklift/ Reach Forklift licence all the better!!
Working hours Monday to Friday 9-5pm, KPI bonus quarterly and annually, 25 days holiday, life insurance and private medical.
Duties
- Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Support and Assist the Warehouse Team Leaders to oversee the warehouse operation by ensuring that the day-to-day admin duties are being achieved.
- Checking that the picking loads correspond with the driver’s paperwork.
- Checking load lists, stock availability and reservations.
- Organising and prioritising the workload.
- Reviewing reports to manage stock availability and reservations.
- To communicate effectively with other departments, individuals, customers, and suppliers.
- Inputting data to generate consignment labels using online systems.
- Ad-hoc office duties such as scanning, checking emails and filling paperwork.
- Picking and helping all other warehouse departments when required.
- To work effectively individually and as part of a team
- Maintain site hygiene/housekeeping standards to the highest levels
- Ensure compliance to all Health & Safety and company procedures
- Ad-hoc duties on request
- Knowledge/ Skills/ Experience
- Experience using internal systems, along with wider business operating systems and open to learning new systems when required.
- Able to build reports, transfer and interpret data, with a high attention to detail for accuracy.
- Be highly organized and being able to prioritize their time effectively in completing administration tasks as and when required.
- A good commercial acumen, articulate and clear communicator.
- Needs to be a great team player, with a high flexible approach to their day and able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Manual Handling not essential however, experience preferred.
- To have a Counterbalance and/or Reach fork truck certificate not essential but preferred.
- Team Player with the willingness to get stuck in and hands on.
