We have been given the opportunity to recruit for one of the largest global real estate and FM companies in the UK working as a Shift Engineer at a well known Data Centre facility in Slough. We have worked with the company for some time and globally they have over 100,000 employees with a total revenue of over 20b.

We're looking for a Shift Engineer with experience in critical environments or data centres like facilities. This role is on a continental shift pattern meaning the role will include both days and nights and overtime opportunities will generally be available throughout the week and month. It is essential that those who apply hold all qualifications as this is a necessity for the role.

Qualifications for a Shift Engineer:

  • HV/LV AP (Ideal but NOT essential)
  • Apprenticeship, primary trade qualifications and substantial experience within a building services environment is ideal
  • C&G 236 Parts 1 and 2/Level 2 & 3 in electrical installation or mechanical equivalent
  • 18th Edition or 17th Edition Wiring Regulations essential for those who are electrically biased
