TeacherActive is working with a vibrant and welcoming academy in Hayes, part of a multi-academy trust, seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, 5-day-a-week basis.

Located in the heart of Hayes, the academy prides itself on its warm and inclusive atmosphere, where students are encouraged to excel academically and develop essential life skills for a successful future. The academy serves families from a diverse range of cultural and ethnic backgrounds and celebrates this diversity with various festivals and inclusive events.

The academy also offers popular Saturday classes for additional learning, sports, and computing development. Community involvement is key, with parents and carers actively engaging in the academy through festival assemblies, workshops, and themed exhibitions.

• Position: KS2 Teacher (Full-time, 5 days a week)
• Location: Hayes, Greater London
• Start Date: ASAP
• Responsibilities:
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons for Key Stage 2 students
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential
  • Use effective strategies to engage and motivate students across all subjects
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to ensure continuous development
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student well-being and progress
  • Take part in extracurricular activities and school events to enhance the student experience

• A qualified teacher with experience in Key Stage 2 (or someone looking to pursue a teaching career)
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and educational best practices
• Passionate about teaching and helping students succeed
• Patient, adaptable, and dedicated to creating a positive learning environment
• Excellent communication, organisational, and teamwork skills
• Relevant teaching qualifications (QTS or equivalent)
