We are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join a vibrant school in the West Drayton area. This role is set to start in December but could potentially begin sooner, extending until July as maternity cover. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is ready to make a significant impact in the classroom.Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons appropriate for Year 5 students.
- Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them for the next stages in their education.
- Create a positive learning environment that promotes good behaviour and a strong classroom culture.
- Collaborate with other teaching staff and contribute to the school community.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the interests and learning styles of students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills).
- Proven experience in teaching, preferably at the primary level.
- Strong understanding of the current curriculum and teaching standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire young learners.
