About the RoleHorizon Teachers is excited to present an excellent opportunity for a talented Business and Economics Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Hillingdon. This full-time role will begin in February 2025, and we are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic educator to inspire and engage students in these important subjects. The successful candidate will teach Business and Economics at Key Stage 4 and 5, helping students develop their analytical skills, commercial awareness, and understanding of the global economy.Key Responsibilities

Plan, deliver, and assess Business and Economics lessons to students in Key Stage 4 and 5.
Support students in preparing for their GCSE and A-Level exams.
Create an engaging and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to help them reach their full potential.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and cross-curricular approach to teaching.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field.
Experience teaching Business and Economics at secondary school level, ideally to GCSE and A-Level.
Ability to inspire and motivate students, helping them develop a passion for Business and Economics.
A commitment to the personal and academic development of all students.
