Science Teacher
We are looking to appoint an inspirational and conscientious experienced Science Teacher, who will work as part of a committed and friendly team. The school is located in Hillingdon borough, between Hayes and Southall. We are looking for someone to start after Christmas, either January or April. School will pay per outer London pay scale.
- Teacher of Science, preferably someone who specialises in Physics.
- The ability to teach Maths would be a strong advantage.
- Unqualified teachers with strong teaching experience in secondary schools in the UK will also be considered.
- Must have knowledge and teaching experience of the UK National Curriculum.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK.
About the school
The Academy is oversubscribed all through Academy in Hayes, Hillingdon. It currently has a 7 form of entry in the Secondary Phase with a Sixth Form and 2 form of entry in the Primary Phase. Curriculum is planned through an evidence informed approach, providing staff with the autonomy to carefully sequence learning tailored towards varying needs of the pupils.
Qualifications and Person Specification:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (school will accept unqualified staff if they have relevant experience)
- A relevant degree
- Excellent subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Approachable and encouraging
