LSCA (Learning Support Care Assistant)

Location: Hayes, UB3
Salary: £89 Per Day (PAYE)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 AM to 4:30 PM

About the Role:

Are you passionate about supporting students with moderate to severe needs? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LSCA to assist students with a range of needs, including ASD, PMLD, Learning Disabilities, and Speech and Language Needs.

You will play a crucial role in providing personal care, supporting with manual handling, and ensuring the safety and well-being of students. The role involves working directly with students on both the Primary and Secondary sites, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and group support to students with moderate to severe learning and physical needs.
  • Assist with personal care tasks, including manual handling.
  • Support students with challenging behaviour and ensure a safe, supportive learning environment.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to ensure students' learning and care needs are met.
  • Ensure the physical and emotional well-being of students throughout the day.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Child and Adult DBS check
  • Ideally have Manual Handling training and experience.
  • Happy to do Personal care 
  • Patient, empathetic, and enthusiastic about supporting students’ development and well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible attitude towards working hours and schedules.
