Are you an experienced Bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant with a keen eye for detail?Do you want to join a small, friendly firm that values its staff, supports professional growth, and offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic and talented team?Responsibilities:
  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and legal accounts.
  • Process transactions, reconciliations, and online banking tasks.
  • Manage Office and Client Cashbooks, banking activities, and cheques.
  • Enter financial transactions into the LEAP system.
  • Assist staff and clients with financial queries.
  • Process debit/credit card payments, invoicing, and credit notes.
  • Maintain VAT status, petty cash, and perform 3-way reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with Anti Money Laundering regulations and Solicitors Accounts Rules.
  • Liaise with accountants and provide financial reports.
Requirements:
  • Solid bookkeeping experience (legal sector preferred but not essential).
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Familiarity with legal accounts or willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of credit control processes and financial regulations.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
