We are delighted to be partnered with our friendly, professional and established client as they seek to recruit a Sales Executive to join their experienced team at their offices in central Haywards Heath. This role is available due to continued strong company growth levels.

Sales Executive

Full time permanent role

Mon-Fri 0900-1730 - early finish at 1700 on Fridays

There is some free parking on site for staff and there is also free parking available very nearby on the residential streets close to the office.

Salary £23000-£25000 per annum plus good company benefits. Guaranteed Christmas off each as the company has a Christmas shut-down period. Good commission level of around 3% of sales generation turnover.

The role and duties - Sales Executive

You will be dealing with engineering consultants and contractors directly. We expect the successful applicant to spend around 3 days of their week in London and the surrounding areas building their client base. You will also be following up on projects to secure orders.

My client will provide full training on their sales process and their industry in general. You will not need any specific qualifications or software knowledge, however, we are seeking somebody who is socially articulate and can communicate well with people they haven’t met previously and who is able to maintain a positive client relationship.

Cold calling is a key part of the role in the first 12 months or so.

My client is offering a good commission structure that will encourage the successful applicant to achieve as much as possible through their sales. My client is a small but growing company and are looking for a long term employee - progression opportunities will be available in the future.

Experience, competencies and knowledge required:

Good customer service skills.

Good computer skills

Some sales experience is highly advantageous
