P/A Secretary – Term Time - £26443

Own transport required due to the rural setting. Parking on site.

Our established clients are looking for a professional and confident PA/Secretary to join their existing team providing a wide mix of support to the school.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administrative Support:
    • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
    • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes.
    • Handle correspondence, including emails, phone calls, and mail.
  2. Documentation Management:
    • Maintain organised filing systems for documents and records.
    • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials.
    • Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
  3. Communication:
    • Facilitate effective communication within the team and across departments.
    • Assist in organising school events and activities.

General Office Management:

    • Ensure office supplies are stocked and maintained.
    • Coordinate maintenance and IT support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of working in an educational environment helpful not essential for someone with strong Administration and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
  • Familiarity with educational policies and procedures is a plus.
  • Competitive salary of £26,443 according to skills plus benefits package.
  • Working term time - full time hours plus 6 weeks to be worked during school holidays for 35 hours per week.
