Part Time Office Administrator

Part Time permanent role - term time only. Role to commence Sept 2024

Workplace based close to Haywards Heath. Plenty of free parking on site. Due to workplace location, it is essential to be a driver and have your own transport.

Salary. £10755 per year (for 20 hours per week term time only) or £13.78 per hour. The role is subject to successful DBS checking.

The Role - Part Time Office Administrator

This is a key position and a very exciting time to be joining an award-winning school. The role demands exceptional people skills and focused attention to detail together with adaptability and enthusiasm and the willingness to go the extra mile. The Part Time Office Administrator role encompasses all aspects of operational and academic procedures within the school. It is an extremely varied role.

Duties and responsibilities include:

To work in the main School Office

To perform a range of secretarial and administrative tasks

To support the administration of the Co-Curricular programme (clubs and activities).

Setting up termly forward planners.

To help with the communication to parents relating to examinations and senior school admissions.

To take the minutes of the Education committee meetings (termly).

To assist with the monitoring and tracking of pupil data.

Providing data for Governors

To work closely with HR, ensuring that new starters have had a full induction process.

To work with other members of the support staff team

Skills, experience and competencies required:

Excellent administration skills.

Professionalism, tact and confidentiality.

Excellent communication skills.

A warm and professional telephone manner

Good IT literacy, particularly with Word and Excel

The ability to work independently and as part of the team.
