Job Role: Principal Process Engineer
Location: Haywards Heath
Salary: £65,000-£80,000 + Benefits package
About the role:
Are you an experienced process engineer with a passion for wastewater treatment and biosolids projects? We are seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead and support multi-disciplinary teams in the planning, design, and delivery of cutting-edge wastewater and biosolids facility upgrades. With over 10+ years of experience, you'll play a critical role in advancing projects from conceptual evaluations to construction and commissioning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead project management, process evaluations, and technical assessments.
- Perform process modelling, design calculations, cost estimates, and prepare detailed design and contract documents.
- Collaborate on process optimisation, equipment selection, and system integration.
- Conduct fieldwork, site visits, and provide technical guidance from planning to construction.
- Communicate clearly both verbally and through technical reports to ensure project success.
About you:
- 10+ years of experience in municipal wastewater treatment and biosolids projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Process Engineering.
- Chartered Engineer status.
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in process design and engineering tools.
