Are you an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer looking for an exciting new challenge? We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our clients highly skilled engineering team and lead the development of their complex projects.
Responsibilities of the Senior Mechanical Engineer:
- Lead a small project design team, ensuring quality solutions within budget and time constraints.
- Innovate in electro-mechanical mechanisms and precision machinery design.
- Perform lab tests to verify and ensure design outputs meet specifications.
- Develop detailed engineering reports for new product designs, failure investigations, and customer documentation.
- Create 3D designs using SolidWorks software.
- Collaborate on engineering analysis, including stress, fatigue, and vibration, using both conventional methods and computer simulations.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to integrate electronic, control, and drive systems into designs.
As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you will have:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in Mechanical Design.
- Proficient in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
- Skilled in load analysis and designing drive mechanisms and motor systems.
- Expertise in designing complex mechanisms and structures for harsh environments.
- Experienced in leading design projects from concept to production.
- Strong understanding of technical work and related activities.
- Knowledgeable in machining, casting, fabrication, and moulding techniques.
- Capable of leading a project design team's technical activities and managing workload.
