SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary

Reed Education are representing a number of primary schools in Horsham and looking for dedicated and energetic Teaching Assistants to support the learning and development of children within KS1 + KS2. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the class teacher to foster a positive and stimulating learning environment.
Day to Day of the role:
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support to enhance student learning.
- Help manage classroom behaviour to maintain a constructive learning atmosphere.
- Support children with special educational needs (SEN) as required.
- Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources for daily activities.
- Supervise children during breaks and coordinate various school activities.
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role within an educational setting.
- Genuine passion for working with children and aiding their educational and personal development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to meet the dynamic needs of the school and its students.
