Job Title: Finance Manager
Location: Derbyshire (Full time, Mon-Fri)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 (DOE)
About the Company:
An exciting and rapidly growing manufacturing business based in Derbyshire is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to take full ownership of the finance function. This is a great opportunity to work directly with the MD and support the company’s growth trajectory.
The Role:
As the Standalone Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the business, including the preparation of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. You will work closely with the MD to provide financial insights that support strategic decisions and help drive the company’s expansion.
This hands-on role offers the opportunity to shape the finance function and contribute directly to the company’s success. You will manage the entire finance process, ensuring the company maintains financial controls and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting
- Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial planning
- Drive cost efficiency initiatives
- Provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making
- Ensure financial controls and compliance are maintained
- Develop financial strategies to aid business growth
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous standalone Finance Manager experience, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong financial management and commercial acumen
- Ability to work independently and manage a full finance function
- Strong communication skills with senior management
- Proactive, hands-on, and solution-oriented
