Immediate opportunity for a Beckhoff Control Engineer with higher level software programming ability OR Junior Software Engineer looking to for a role within automation, to join a specialist engineering company who provide highly accurate and cost-effective systems for a variety of aerospace, automotive, defence and motorsport applications.

You will be focusing on aerodynamic test equipment for wind tunnel testing as well as supplying state of the art test and robotic equipment for a myriad of other complex engineering applications.

 

Control Systems & Software Engineer

£55-70k + 20% Annual Bonus.

c£30k for Graduate level, c£34-40k for Junior level

Relocation Assistance Available To East Sussex.

The role will involve working within the engineering team to support existing projects and to drive through the development of new, cutting edge solutions.

You will utilise your controls software and electronic skills to build systems for leading corporations in the UK and USA.

 

Control Systems & Software Engineer - Requirements

  • Bachelor degree  
  • Knowledge of modern high-level programming languages ie; Delphi/C++/C# ESSENTIAL
  • Skilled with writing for Beckhoff PLC software - ESSENTIAL for an experienced Control Engineer
  • Experience of servo motor / motion control advantageous
  • Ability to interpret various electrical drawings/documents e.g. I/O schedules
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal - ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Demonstrate potential to grow into a management position
  • Knowledge of engineering lifecycle and business process

If you have experience in the development of either Robotics, Motion Control Projects, Data Acquisition, Safety Systems or Networking protocols, this position could be ideal for you.

This client is also open to taking a Graduate Engineer with a good degree OR Junior level Control/Software Engineer keen for quick progression.

We are not able to consider Graduate VISA’s for this position.

 

Minimum office hours are 10:00 – 16:00 Monday to Thursday inclusive, and 10:00 – 13:00 on Fridays.  The company provides a profit share scheme
