Salary: Competitive, Up to £38k (DOE)
Location: Dumfries, South Scotland
Hours: 4 on 4 off (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) – 12-Hour Shifts

About the Role

Talento is currently recruiting for an exciting Production Team Leader role at a leading food and beverage production facility in Dumfries. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production supervisor or line manager who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing a shift, leading a team to meet production targets, and maintaining high-quality standards within the factory. If you have experience in production leadership and are passionate about sustainability, this is the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage your team to meet production targets and ensure effective training and development.
  • Ensure a safe working environment by overseeing PPE compliance and maintaining cleanliness across the site.
  • Maintain and enforce high standards of quality control across all production processes.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of daily production tasks by offering guidance and support to your team.
  • Accurately record product and material movements within the production line.
  • Collaborate with fellow Team Leaders to manage shift transitions and daily responsibilities.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented culture aligned with company values, motivating and recognizing team achievements.

About You

We are seeking a motivated Production Supervisor with strong leadership skills who can inspire and manage a high-performing team in a dynamic factory environment.

Experience & Skills:

  • Previous experience in supervisory roles within manufacturing or production, ideally in food and beverage or other fast-paced industries.
  • Proficient in managing production processes and familiar with shift-based work.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and best practices in a production setting.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and time management software.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all levels.
