Are you a Project Planner looking for a new challenge? Jackson Hogg is delighted to be supporting a client based in Hebburn with the appointment of a Project Planner, working within a fabrication environment.

We are looking to speak with ambitious candidates who would like to take on a MSP Project Planner position. You must have experience project co-ordinating, ideally within fabrication, marine or defence sectors. You will be happy to jump into a brand new role, having had hands on experience and ready to plan a fresh and unique project.You will have had experience or insight of MSP, be naturally organised and want to progress. You must be happy to take on a hands on approach, physically monitoring project progress.

Responsibilities include:

  • You’ll be responsible for managing complexity, ensuring smooth workflows, and adapting plans as needed to account for the unique nature of this project.
  • Building timelines from scratch, considering all stages of production, including design, procurement, manufacturing, and quality checks.
  • Technical drawings, specifications, and job requirements need to fully grasped in relation to the technical aspects of the work to create realistic plans

The Person:

  • Knowledge of fabrication, structural and production processes and engineering principles with qualifications in Engineering, Production Management, Construction or similar is vital
  • To control and steer projects, knowledge of Earned Value Management is desirable.
  • MSP Planning experience desirable
