RT Consulting are an established Silver ERS armed forces covenant SME, we are a Management Consultancy with over 15 years experience driving innovation and transformation in key sectors, including Defence, Local & Central Government, Policing and Transport. As a result of continued success, we are expanding our society of consultants to fulfil current and future demands from our defence portfolio, particularly one of the largest Defence frameworks within the UK which we have proudly been supporting for over 5 years.

Our Consultants are deployed into largescale Programmes/Projects to bring expert knowledge in order to drive sustainable and long-term change and add value to each project / programme.

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist with the following experience:

  • Supplier Management - Identifying, evaluating, and managing relationships with suppliers to ensure they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
  • Contract Negotiation - Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirement.
  • Quality Assurance - Ensuring that all procured materials and services meet the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration - Working closely with internal stakeholders, such as engineering, project management, and finance teams, to understand their needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.

We are seeking individuals with a background in the UK Defence sector, ideally with specific experience in submarines. Preferred areas of expertise include Submarine Systems, Operations, Maintenance, Warfare, Support, and Combat Systems.

As the capability falls within a secure environments, to be successful for our society, you will need to hold current and active Security Clearance. Due to the urgency of these programme, clearances will need to be in date and have been used within the last 12 months.
