We are looking for a proactive Business Support Coordinator to join a leading manufacturer of health and safety products. This role provides vital support to the Legal and Compliance division and ensures the smooth operation of compliance processes, data protection activities, and document preparation. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate documentation, managing data protection tools, and supporting business operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a global organisation with excellent brand recognition. The ideal person will have been involved in compliance or documentation control and will have excellent attention to detail. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update data protection tools, ensuring accurate documentation of personal data processing activities.
  • Maintain the Data Protection Breach Register and prepare legal agreements, including NDAs and Data Processing Agreements.
  • Review and update policies such as the Modern Slavery Statement.
  • Provide business information for customer and third-party requests, particularly for tenders.
  • Support compliance processes, including contract, authorization, and risk management.

The Person:A detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills, analytical thinking, and excellent communication. You should have an interest in data protection and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Essential Requirements:

  • A-level education (degree preferred) and several years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
  • Familiarity with data/document management systems.
  • Knowledge of data protection laws and IT systems is advantageous.
  • Strong ability to coordinate tasks, ensure accuracy, and meet deadlines.
