The position offers a competitive salary of £30,000 to £35,000 and requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our client, a well-established practice accountancy firm. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for the day-to-day bookkeeping of a range of clients.

The responsibilities of the Bookkeeper include but are not limited to the following:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial transactions and records.
Generate regular financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flow statements.
Oversee onboarding of new clients seeking bookkeeping services.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Ensure smooth and accurate processing of end-of-month payment runs.

Skills, Experience & Key Candidate Attributes:

In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping, double-entry accounting and end-of-month payment runs.
Qualified with AAT Level 2.
Familiarity with Xero and other cloud-based systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
An eye for detail and the ability to produce consistently accurate work.
