  • The position offers a hybrid work arrangement with regular commutes to St. Albans and a salary of £30,000 to £40,000 depending on experience.

Our client is a small, but well established firm of Accountants who are going through a solid period of growth. They are looking to recruit a Senior Bookkeeper / Management Accounant to join its team.

  • Supporting a diverse portfolio of clients, responsible for bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts (if applicable)
  • Reviewing the work completed by junior members of the team
  • Liaising with clients directly to resolve queries or obtain further information as appropriate.
  • Maintaining and developing solid client relations
  • Undertaking research/ad hoc projects as appropriate

You may be AAT Qualified, QBE or a studier, but must have experience in a similar role with solid bookkeeping experience and be able to prepare accounts to TB. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills and are able to effectively liaise with their clients and you must have experience with systems like Xero, Quickbooks, Sage etc

Whilst the role is offered on a hybrid basis, you will have to commute regularly to St.Albans.
