The company operates across a wide range of sectors, including IT, janitorial, HVAC, vehicle fleet, and hospitality, and serves clients in industries such as government, finance, retail, and manufacturing. They are seeking to expand its telemarketing department.

Position Overview:

Our client is recruiting a Telemarketing Team Leader to manage the existing telemarketing team and contribute to account management and new business development. The ideal candidate will support the directors in managing accounts and lead the team with creativity and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer-Facing:

  • Maintain and develop customer relationships
  • Meet with new and existing clients to create campaign briefs
  • Provide daily and weekly progress reports to ensure campaign goals are met
  • Generate new business through networking or telemarketing
  • Supplement telemarketing efforts as needed

Team Management:

  • Coach and motivate the telemarketing team
  • Ensure sales targets are met
  • Recommend training and development for the team
  • Handle inbound customer calls and monitor call quality
  • Report key performance indicators (KPIs) to directors regularly

Experience Required:

  • Proven experience in business, account management, telemarketing, and team management
  • Full driving license and well-maintained vehicle (mileage reimbursed)

Skills Required:

  • Strong understanding of business and the ability to translate features into business benefits
  • Excellent telephone skills and customer-focused approach

Technical:
