Overview:
An exciting new opportunity to join a well established Groundworks and Civil Engineering company specialising in the Highway, Rail and Airport sectors and operating across the South of England. The role offers a large scope for career progression and personal development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Civils & Groundworks, the ability to oversee day to day duties on site and oversee project programmes while visiting various sites and liaising with clients in a mixture of office and site based work.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with managing projects (programme, H&S, quality)
- Visiting various sites or could be based on one larger project
- Daily liaison with clients
- Daily liaison with site foreman
- Assisting resolving daily project issues
- Liaising with Quantity Surveyor
- RAMS
- Lift plans
- Project programmes
- Lookahead programmes
- ITPs
- Monitoring site progress
- Meetings
- Resource management / planning
- Material call offs
- Material reconciliations
- Record keeping
- Assisting with tenders
- General project administration
Requirements:
- Site experience
- Subcontractor or main contractor experience in the UK
- CSCS
- SSSTS / SMSTS but we can provide this training
- Clean driving licence
- Good communication skill
- Ability to produce programmes
