We're excited to be working with a leading retail industry client to recruit a Commercial Sales Analyst to join their dynamic team in Hemel Hempstead. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving business performance through insightful reporting and analysis

About the role:As a Commercial Sales Analyst, you'll be at the heart of the business, working closely with senior stakeholders to analyse sales and marketing data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations. Your insights will help shape strategies to optimise performance and drive growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a suite of reports using tools like Power BI to support business decision-making

  • Analyse sales and marketing data to uncover trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions

  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity, maintaining high standards of data governance

  • Provide training and support to teams on using BI tools and interpreting reports

  • Support ad-hoc data analysis projects to drive business improvements

What we're looking for:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar analytical or BI role proving analysis for sales, marketing or commercial teams

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualisation tools

  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data in a clear and actionable way, business partnering with commercial and operational teams

  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other programming languages is a bonus
